I would like to find an old thread in which I did not post, and the title of which I forget. Using the menu on the left of the page, I searched for both a key word and then for a person I know left a comment. Neither word had any matches at all! Is the search feature working? A year ago, I was able to find all the posts of an individual by clicking on the nickname. Now, I try clicking on a person's nickname to find all of his posts, but only get to the profile-- no information on former posts. Is there a way to search forums for a keyword?

Click on the person's profile, and when you go to the profile, on the top right hand corner there's a link that says "find all posts by this person".

Nope, it's not there. It was there a year ago, but nothing is there now. That's why I tried the search feature (9th item on the menu on the left). The screen appears, but the search never brings up anything at all. It just shows the search screen again without any comments.

Yes, I see it on your pictures, but it isn't there on my computer when I go to a person's profile. It isn't there when I view my own profile either. Does the search feature from the menu work for you?[/b]

That's very strange. Yes, the search feature works for me.
Can I ask what is the thread, or whose post you're looking for? I could find it for you, until Sue comes and looks into why you're not able to see all the features.

The only thing I can think of is perhaps you weren't logged in when you looked on the person's profile? Because I just checked, and when you're not logged in, you can't see the "find all posts by..." link in the person's profile.

Yes, I was logged in. I log in each time I visit in order to see the new posts. Last year, I was set up to be logged in automatically, but that changed when my old address (for finding all new posts since my last visit) no longer worked. I'll check the box to be logged in automatically and see if that makes a difference. I'll report back either way-- probably tomorrow.
