The rules all make perfect sense to me. Thank you for letting me join. I am really looking forward to talking with others on the site.

Foul Language  Reply with quote

I totally agree with the rules. I do have a complaint about atomic-in-nh homepage. I was quite offended by the foul language he used on his homepage. He also has it typed in red which stands out. I don't think the younger members of this site need to read that foul language. It should be deleted from his homepage before anymore people especially the younger ones, read it.

Thank You,
Sentiels3

Sentiel.. Though I'm doing everything I can to prevent this from happening, I am not online 24-7.. Wink Could you tell me where he put this foul language? Did he put it on his homepage or the comments?

Sue not sure if you posted this before you read my message in the mod forum, but it's the same one I told you about. After I left a message on his homepage telling him the foul language will not be tolerated, he edited it and took the swear words out. If you go on his homepage, on the actual page, it's in red text. It's pretty much the same kinda message he left on my page. Rolling Eyes

Sue, I checked his homepage this morning and he did edit out the foul language, I just hope that no young members read it before he edited it out since he was in the top spot for whats new and updated. Thank you for keeping on top of things the best you can. We who love this site want to keep it clean and fun for all ages. We appreciate what you have given us bird owners and we don't want to ruin it. Smile

Sue,

If you want to, I could help you write a paraser to check the I/O stream for foul language. I did it for work on everything we post to all the Car Sites. It does not slow the stream down much.. Yet me know

John: Thanks for offering help.. Very Happy
I will look if there are mods that can be adjusted, thus making it less work.. Wink

At this time, that would be easy to do for the forum. Not for the diary, homepage & the comments. Sad
Also I don't know all the swear words.. Laughing
