Please read the rules and regulations of this site and become familiar with them. By posting anywhere on this board you agree to it. If a rule is broken you shall be warned and your post(s) or user profile may be modified.
Remember, we are all here to help and learn from each other, and while it would be nice to have a site without rules, these are necessary in order to maintain the friendly atmosphere the site has experienced thus far. Please try to follow them in order to make this a nice place for our existing and new users to visit.

Flame wars, posts of discriminating or vulgar nature and abuse will not be tolerated here.
The posts will be removed and the users warned.

Posts of a religious or political nature are not valid topics of discussion on www.fluffies.org. These posts will be deleted immediately upon being spotted by a moderator, and the user will be warned.

Make sure that you post your message in the right forum: Questions about African grey parrots in the African grey forum and questions about pellets in the diet forum etc. If you do not know where to post your topic
then please send us an email
or ask the moderators..
Use the chit chat forum
for off topic subjects but remember that posts of a religious or political nature are NOT allowed!

The moderating team reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members and not users.
The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revokation of private messaging.
Policing
www.fluffies.org employs a 3-strike policy. Users will be warned a maximum of 3 times for any and all offences. If the need arises for a 4th warning, a ban will be put into place, either temporary or permanent at the moderators' discretion.
Arguing with moderators or other www.fluffies.org team members after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning. Should this exceed three strikes a ban will be put in place as above.
Users who feel they have been unfairly warned are welcome to contact the administrator. If they feel you were treated badly they may remove a warning. Their decision is final. Contacting the administrator over warning matters should be done so as a very last resort.
Any attempt to circumvent a temporary ban will lead to that ban being made permanent. Circumvention includes re-registering under a non-banned username, changing IP addresses to evade an IP ban, registering a new email account of evade an email ban.
An exception to the three strike rule applies when users contact team members (moderators) personally (via any method) and post insulting, indecent or vulgar material. Such users may be subject to an immediate permanent ban.
Permanent bans are a last resort and thought is given before implementing them. While www.fluffies.org may consider lifting permanent bans from time to time this is a rare occurence.
We reserve the right to modify these rules at any time, and without prior notice.
