This is a cool site. I just found it when I was looking for a pic of a leadbeater macaw. It is a good site & I will tell people about it. Thanks for having it. I am going to have to get pics of my Macaw & post them here also. Keep up the good work. I wish the restaurants here would let our birds in but I don't think they would. I like taking mine to the park & pet store though & she likes it also. |

Thanks Steve for the nice words!
You can upload your photos with the upload button. In this way you won't have to use free servers to host your photos..
Please keep in mind that photos cannot be larger than 100KB..
It's a pity that birds aren't allowed in restaurants where you live.. Sometimes my birds are better behaved than the kids in the restaurants! (They sometimes fling food everywhere! )
Please be careful about taking birds to a pet store.. (Disease transmission)
According to my avian vet, there is a higher risk of a bird getting sick in enclosed areas like buildings than in open air..

They say the birds in the restaurant is a health issue when I asked once. The health department here won't allow it. They will allow seeing eye dogs though (I see why they do that , no punn intended). That is why I take her the places I can like the pet stores & the park & my work (on slower days). Magnolia bird farm seems real clean & the local vet is seen in there sometimes. They have clinic days at certain times also. They do microchiping & sexing & I am not sure if there is anything else those are the only things I have had done at those times. Thanks about the pic thing also, I have most of my pics on another hard drive for safety reasons so I will have to get it sometime & look for some pics to post. Keep up the good work with the site and all. |

You take her to your work? Lucky you! Does she help you or just give you more work LOL!
I have most of my photos on a back-up dvd or cd disc. Handy for storing somewhere else.. Photos are irreplacable.. |

Yes I take mine to my work. I keep a stand there usually. I had an old cage there also but a friend needed it so I gave it to him. They just stay in my office usually. |

| Wonderful Sight |
|
|
I'm taking each thing you have listed and reading everything. I think it is great about the rules because when i first got my computer I wanted to find a chat room wher I could talk about all my animals and find people who had birds that I could ask questions and get anwsers. Well i pulled up a chat room that I thought for sure would be "nice" and you would not believe what all was on that screen! I could not get out of ther fast enough. I'm 48 years old and I could not believe what people wer saying on that screen. I decided one night just to start whit bird ads I had in my 'Birdtalk" and to the rescue came sight after sight saying they had chat rooms about birds. So i have 2 now that I can go to and I also am an elephantfan so I go to theirs. But I don't have to worry about any cussing or ugly stuff. This is wonderful sight. I haven't found out wher the adminastrator is from yet or wher this is out of but I guess sometime befor I get off I will. I look forward to this sight coming home from working at a nursing home I've had some hard nights, but reading your post sure perk me up. Thanks fellow Fluffies! |

From what I saw on some of those sights there are no rules for them! It was just terrible! I like a nice slow pace and not to feel embaressed about what I am reading. This is a very nice sight. |
