Hey Greg, Just a FYI, the screen resolution is actually affected by the type of graphic card you have installed in your computer. It has nothing to do with Microsoft. As long as you have an later graphic card, you should be able to set the settings at the higher resolution.
MY old old work computer had this really old old graphic card on it, the highest resolution I could go was only 800x600... it was so sucky!! |

Yes I can change my resolution, there's no problem with that. I just don't like the tiny windows because I'm *really* myopic. |

heehee, I run my display at 1280x854 resolution, so I have no problem seeing the images if I just make my window wider (since I don't like maximizing my windows). I just found it strange that I got the problem in the first place because I've never had it before. Anyway, it's no big deal .
Vis, what browser are you using? Perhaps that has something to do with it.. |

Ioanna,
My browser is internet explorer 6. I've never had this problem before so I don't think it has to do with the browser.
Indeed it's no big deal. I just noticed it and thought of reporting it. |

Well it's actually the recommended resolution for my laptop and I find it very comfortable to read stuff off the screen, but that's probably because in apple computers fonts are actually quite big regardless of the resolution . Often I've wished they were smaller actually (lol). I like teeny tiny fonts and I like to be able to see heaps of windows on my screen (in fact, I can't handle not being able to because I'm a software engineering student and it makes work a lot harder) |
