PART I

Today, Iago, Zazu & Nenya joined me to a trip to the woods. We picked out a new forest which turned out to be quite a disaster. Nenya was covered with ticks and she also seemed to have diarrhea. Luck wasn’t on our side today.. We went to two pet stores to get something to treat the diarrhea but they didn’t have anything available. Luckily, a vet, who was new to this town, was open to introduce the people to her new practice. She was willing to help me, even though she wasn’t on duty.. :-)

Iago & Zazu though were having fun in the new forest. On the picture below you can see Zazu looking enviously to his older brother, who’s holding an acorn.

After the walk, we went out for dinner at the restaurant we often visit.. Iago, Zazu and Nenya are allowed to join us there.
On the photo below you see Zazu trying to steal a slice of bread. He really likes the bread they serve in this restaurant, it’s very dark with lots of grains & seeds.. :-)

It seems like Zazu succeeded. Well, I gave him a small piece of bread. The slice was a bit too much!

Iago is a real ’grape fan’ so he was allowed to eat his grape on the plate when we were finished. On the picture below he is almost done eating his grape.. He doesn’t have table manners as you can see!

Iago was also given a tiny piece of cheese from inside a snack.
Note that my parrots’ regular diet is quite healthy.
PLEASE only feed your parrot these unhealthy snacks on rare occasions and in VERY small amounts!

After finishing his snack, Iago wanted to try the sauce, do you see him looking what’s in the bowl? He wasn’t allowed to have some though!

He also became quite thirsty and insisted on having some water.. Do you see him stretching out? LOL!
