Handy to teach

Outdoor plays are a joy for almost every parrot. Sunlight is also a very good thing for parrot, but be sure that your feathered friend can seek shade as well. If you take your parrot outside and you keep the things mentioned below in mind,  you and your parrot could have a wonderful time when going outdoors!

1

Check your parrot's flight ability every time when you take him outside. New primaries should be clipped one by one as they replace themselves. Don't leave new primaries on untill wings are fully replaced!
Using a harnass when going outside is very safe. Please consider one!! They come in different forms and sizes, ranging from cockatiel till a large macaw so there is always a harnass available that is right for your bird.

2
Birds will fly away when startled so keep your bird in a safe area. Birds could fall into a brook, campfire or busy road.

3
Always keep in mind that your bird van be an easy prey for cats, owls, and other animals. Just leaving unsupervised your bird some seconds can be enough for the predators to strike. So don't leave your feathered friend when you are going to get a glass of lemonade!
