Iago joined me to the shopping precinct today. First, we did some groceries, then we went to the pet store (birds are kept separate from the toys there!) to find a toy for Iago. Well, he succeeded in finding a toy, after disapproving some other 'stupid' toys.. :-)
After the exhausting task of finding a suitable toy, he decided we had deserved some fries.

On the photo below you can Iago looking at the snacklist, he couldn't decide though.. Too many snacks to choose from! What's a poor birdy to do?!

I can't possibly choose from all those yummy snacks!

Let him mom choose ofcourse!
I put Iago on my left arm, with which I held my fries. I had the illusion that I could eat my fries without a parrot continually digging in my bag of fries, in his search for the best frie! I was so wrong, as the photo below illustrates!

Hey, Iago, these are my snacks!

Iago did dipose of the rubbish properly, just as I taught him: In the trashcan ofcourse!
Be careful not to fall in yourself, Iago!

Trash where it should be!

That evening, we went to the McDonalds, where Zazu HAD to eat some of the all-famous-McDonalds-lettuce. He doesn't care about my home chopped lettuce, but this particular lettuce seemed to be irresistable. How could I forget, my lettuce is no haute cuisine, McDonalds lettuce is reknown by the world's most famous lettuce connoisseurs! LOL!

This lettuce is guide-Michelin quality!

Next day, Iago & Zazu joined me on my visit to Lilo and her mom. By the way, Lilo is a gorgeous severe macaw.
The weather was rainy & stormy and Iago decided that waiting for the bus in this horrible weather was not for little Senegal parrots, so he dived under my coat.. :-) Doesn't he look adorable, hiding his little feathered butt for the cold rain?

This is no weather for a cute looking Senegal like me!

Iago was willing to come out in the bus, he enjoyed his time sitting on the handrail while looking around him.

I love travelling by bus!

When we arrived at Lilo's place, I gave her a toy, which Lilo highly appreciated. She spent quite some time playing with it, without destroying it! Iago would have cut this toy down within seconds. (The little vandal!)
Iago tried to charm Lilo's mom by behaving angelic (when doesn't he do this LOL!) and he obviously succeeded. (I have no photos of that, sadly enough)

Lilo & her new toy..

Lilo and her mom are really 'in love' as you can see on the photo below!

True love.. :-)

Lilo's mom had to do some groceries and Lilo & Zazu joined us to the supermarket. On the photo below you can see Zazu looking at the shelves, looking for groceries to his liking.

Any nuts over here?

On the photo below you can see Lilo's mom paying, Lilo (Did you spot her on her mom's back?) is looking over her shoulder if she gets enough change. Zazu doesn't interfere, he doing sums! LOL!

Yeah yeah, let them keep the change..

We hope to see you next time!
