My friend paid us a visit with her two rescue parrots: An amazon parrot named Borre & an African grey parrot named Tabu.
Tabu is a plucker, well she barbers her feathers and cut them like a suit of down.
She is making progress though, and she has one tail feather now.Borre is a 45 years old (?) amazon parrot that was wild caught many years ago. He lived in a tiny cage for about 40 years until my friend rescued him.
His owner was thinking of having him euthanized this beautiful amazon parrot!
Below you can see the whole gang on the outdoor parrot gym.
From left to right you can see:
Rocco (Congo African grey parrot) Iago (Senegal parrot) Flit (peach faced lovebird) Zazu (leadbeaters cockatoo Donny & Cherry (blue and gold macaws) Borre (amazon parrot) and Tabu. (Congo African gray parrot)
It's one colorful bunch of parrots!
Another photo of the colorful parrotbunch:
On the next photo, Zazu is keeping an eye on Borre the amazon parrot.
On the photo below, Zazu is heading for his food bowl. Flit, the lovebird is looking interested in Zazu's food bowl.
Borre the amazon parrot & Tabu the amazon parrot also seem a little interested in where Zazu is going to.
Tabu the CAG is interested in Iago's meal. He cannot reach Iago though, as he is on another parrot gym!
'Then I'll eat from the food bowl on this parrot gym' Tabu seems to be thinking..
Tabu CAG and Borre the amazon parrot..
Donny the blue and gold macaw is bullying Borre the amazon parrot on the photo below.
