When I got Zazu I got his sexe-papers as well. He's a boy and he surely proves to be one! He has a very strong own will, for which the Major mitchells male is known.
                                                                

After some time I also had him tested, together with Iago, for some contagious diseases as many people spoke about them. Zazu turned out to be a very healthy bird:
