I am a five years old leadbeaters cockatoo, Major mitchells cockatoo, Majormitchell cockatoo or cacatua leadbeateri called Zazu. I live together with a Senegal parrot called Iago, a white Swiss Sheperd dog named Nenya, a peach faced lovebird named Flit and my mom.

I was adopted when I was around five weeks old. I couldn't crack my own seeds and pellets so my mom had to handfeed me. I liked it in the beginning but after some time I just started to crack my own seeds and now I don't need those spoons anymore.

I can introduce myself in Dutch: 'Hello, I am Zazu!' I can say some other things like 'How are you doing' and 'What's up' but it all stays very simple. But what can you expect, I am not an African Grey!

I recently started to keep up a diary with photos just to tell you about all my adventures! I will make a diary entry and add photos from time to time.

On the main page you my mom put information you might want to know before you adopt a parrot but also information you need after adopting a pal like me. I hope she will provide you the information needed to keep your us (and yourself!) happy and healthy.
